Yannis Christopoulos was born in Athens. He studied Byzantine Music and following he started his studies at Classical singing. In 1998 he won the “Alexandra Triandi” scholarship and he completed his studies in Italy.
When he returned to Greece, he started his collaboration with the National Opera of Greece, Megaron Music of Athens and Thessaloniki, interpreting roles of classic and modern repertory.
He has collaborated with all the important orchestras of Greece. Yannis has appeared in performances and concerts at International and Greek festivals. (Greek Festival, Dimitria, Festival of Santorini, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Carnegie Hall, etc.)
